More than 30 Years of Engagement for Ohio's Public Good

Complete to Compete Ohio’s 2022 webinar series

More people in Ohio need a high-value credential or postsecondary degree to keep up with the state’s growing knowledge economy. The Complete to Compete Ohio coalition is hosting a new webinar series to highlight some of the best strategies in Ohio, other states, and national experts on how to meet this need. The series will touch on key themes of the coalition’s “Bridging Ohio’s Workforce Gap” attainment action plan, highlighting new ideas and success stories that can show state leaders and stakeholders new ways to help more Ohioans earn a high-value credential or postsecondary degree.

We are happy to announce the first two editions of Complete to Compete Ohio’s 2022 webinar series.

The first webinar will be held on March 24, 2022, from 10:15-11:00 a.m. and feature Joel Vargas and Kyle Hartung from Jobs for the Future. They will share their new report “The Big Blur,” which argues for erasing the boundaries between high school, college, and careers – a restructuring they say can work better for everyone.

The second webinar will be on April 28, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and it will feature policy experts from ExcelinEd, a national organization that supports state leaders in transforming education. During this seminar, ExcelinEd will review the six important policy areas where state policymakers can build career pathways and review ExcelinEd’s findings on Ohio’s initiatives.
